Standards Australia is holding a one-day seminar on Records and Document Management Systems to introduce standards arising from the work of the technical committee.

The event aims to inform our information management community about the national standards work occurring in records, document management and archives, and how Standards Australia’s work links to the parallel and interrelated work in the international standards area.

It also intends to encourage input to new and draft standards development as well as elicit feedback about what sorts of standards and guidelines (technical reports) practitioners would find useful in their work.

The event is being held on July 29, 2014, at Standards Australia, Exchange Centre, Level 10, 20 Bridge Street, Sydney. This is a complimentary forum and places are limited.
