International law firm Allens chooses HighQ for client extranets

International law firm Allens has chosen HighQ Collaborate as its new client extranet platform.

Allens, one of Australia’s leading law firms, sought a modern and user-friendly extranet platform to replace their existing in-house solution.

Gerard Neiditsch, Chief Information Officer at the firm, explains why: “We were using a bespoke extranet that we had built in house. It no longer met all the needs of our sophisticated clients. We knew we needed a flexible platform that was easy for our partners and clients to use with minimal need for IT to be involved in administration.”

Allens had experience of using HighQ Collaborate through alliance partner Linklaters, which is already using HighQ.

Allens saw HighQ Collaborate as an opportunity to enrich collaboration between the firm and its clients. “HighQ will allow us to collaborate with our clients in an effective and efficient manner. It has great functionality and provides a consistent interface to our clients,” says Gerard.

“From an IT perspective, Collaborate is great because it is easy for users to administer, which greatly reduces the amount of IT resource required,” explains Gerard.

“HighQ’s secure software-as-a-service offering means that the platform gets regular updates, so we’re always using the latest version of the platform.”

Mark Reynolds, Senior Consultant at HighQ, says: “Allens is a firm with a long history in the APAC region and a clear vision for the future, and we’re very excited that it has chosen HighQ Collaborate for its extranet. We look forward to helping Allens to collaborate seamlessly with its clients.”
