Scenic Rim Council turns to Canon

Scenic Rim Regional Council will consolidate and streamline its print and scan environment with Canon Australia under a project expected to save up to $A70,000 a year.

Canon was selected from a closed tender, focused on the implementation of a sustainable and cost effective print strategy for the Council.

Commenting on the contract, Scenic Rim Regional Council CEO Craig Barke said: “By implementing a sustainable print environment across our organisation we aim to significantly reduce our environmental footprint as well as reduce cost.”

The implementation will reduce Scenic Rim Regional Council’s current print fleet from 63 printers and 17 photocopiers to just 32 multifunction devices and one scanner. Scenic Rim Regional Council will also introduce uniFLOW software, enabling rules, routing, statistics and accounting integration with document workflow.
