Cloud contract management technology awarded US patent

Exari, developer of cloud-based contract lifecycle management solutions, has been awarded a patent for its document authoring technology by the US Patent and Trademark Office.

The technology allows for the creation of native XML smart contract templates that can deliver tailored contracts in Word, PDF, HTML, XML and other formats. This translates into capabilities for contract visibility, management, analytics and risk management for businesses.

Exari DocGen is an online XML-based document assembly system, which has been patented in the UK since 2003 and in the US since 2011.

Exari Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer, Justin Lipton, said, “This patent is both proof and recognition of Exari’s commitment to innovation. We continue to strive to maintain our position as a leader in the document assembly and contract management markets.

“Our clients’ templates and contracts are not tied to proprietary formats or tools that can be changed at the whim of the vendors that control them.”

Exari Contracts Hub is a cloud-based solution that provides a secure environment to capture and report on critical contract data, including milestones, obligations, renewals and revenue risk drivers.
