RM Public View allows organisations to quickly and easily configure and publish what HP TRIM/ HP RM information public can search and view”.

One client, New Zealand’s Hutt City Council, has set RM Public View up to allow users to search on cemeteries, drainage plans, newsletters and their archives. Here is a summary of the new product line:

RM Workspace (formerly known as Diem Portal) is a collaborative web-based workspace that provides staff with the ability to quickly and effectively discover, access and share enterprise information. This user friendly, intuitive and accessible (WCAG 2.0 Level AA) workspace is easy and fast to install as a presentation layer over HP Records Manager and HP TRIM and requires minimum configuration. This is RM Workspace, which is in use in a number of Federal, State and corporate customers, including Department of Agriculture, Australian Public Service Commission, Aust. Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority and Safe Work Australia.

RM Public View - search and view interface for HP TRIM/ RM records. It’s ideally built for extranets and intranets to expose live information out of HP TRIM/RM. Key to this product is its flexibility in setup and configuration - it allows information managers to restrict user access by separating records into logical “tabs” with custom filters based on Record Type or Thesaurus Terms. The results are then shown in a configurable table, where users are able to drill down into a detailed view of the record.

RM Connector (formerly Diem Broker) - a web service that acts as a middleware Connector between HP TRIM/RM and organisational Business Applications, allowing records created in the application to be automatically captured into TRIM/RM. It allows you to search, retrieve and capture information to TRIM/RM without moving from your line-of-business applications. RM Connector reduces the risk, cost and maintenance effort in integrating business applications to HP TRIM/RM. Integrated applications become ‘loosely coupled’ where they can be easily upgraded without major re-integration costs. Additional applications can be easily added over time, thus avoiding further integration costs.

RM Mobile for MDMs - provides access to an organisation’s HP TRIM/RM records and documents from mobile devices via Mobile Device Management (MDM) systems, such as Good for Enterprise, Airwatch or Citrix Xenapps. MDMs protect corporate data in use and at rest on the device without compromising on usability. RM Mobile for MDMs is supported on various platforms and devices (phones & tablets) including iOS, Android, Blackberry, Windows etc.

RM Links - simple method of publishing a link to a document in TRIM to (say) an intranet site. Can also use it to search TRIM, and navigate containers.

RM Adaptors consisting of –

• Ricoh MFD Connector: captures scanned documents directly to HP TRIM from a Multi-Function Device (MFD).
• Email Capture: automatically captures defined sent and received emails from your organisation’s Microsoft Exchange system into TRIM, taking the burden off users to capture emails as corporate records.

RM Migration consisting of –

• BCS Synch: for re-organising shared drives and migrating the results to HP TRIM/RM. The TRIM/RM BCS is exported to a shared drive and folders and documents can be dragged and dropped under the required classification. These are then migrated to HP TRIM/RM and a short cut will be left in the drive.
• Drive Migrator: a migration tool that can be used to migrate network drive folders and files into HP TRIM.
• Dataset Migrator: a HP TRIM migration tool that copies records and locations from one dataset to another.
