Office Information Australia remain primary iManage partner

Office Information Australia will remain the primary distributor and supplier of iManage, legal and financial services document management, collaboration and knowledge management software. iManage had experimented with a regional area manager in 2002 and has decided to concentrate on its existing relationship with Perth's Office Information Australia.

John Kenyon, the V.P for global channels and alliances at iManage in the US confirmed that the region manager role, held by Mike Ross, has been "terminated".

Office Information Australia will remain the Master Distributor, continuing a successful relationship. They will distribute and service iManage across the Asia Pacific region Nigel Askew, a director of Office Information Australia said.

"We are sending a sales person to New Zealand, where Mr Ross operated from, to speak to customers and if necessary, we will position someone over there, but I don't think this will be necessary as, as with elsewhere in the region, we have excellent partner," Mr Askew said.

Office Information Australia became the Master Distributor for iManage in 1997 and has serviced the Asia Pacific region since. In 1998 it opened a Sydney office due to iManage demand. There are also resellers in Wellington, Auckland, Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok and Hong Kong.
