Managing blades
StorageTek and BMC Software have signed a deal which will see BMC's PATROL storage management application become part of the StorageTek offering for the D-Series and BladeStore disk systems.
The aim of the deal is to offer users of the D-Series disk and BladeStor inline systems a management application to achieve the best functionality from their storage systems.
Philip Belcher, the managing director of StorageTek in Australia and New Zealand said; "By leveraging BMC's PATROL Storage Management software in tandem with theirStorageTek systems, customers can maximise their StorageTek investments tostreamline storage management automation, analysis and planning."
