Samsung Electronics has introduced the first $2000 digital copier, printer, fax and scanner that comes complete with a three-year on-site warranty.
The SCX-5312F incorporates SamsungÕs toner-save technology - a one-touch toner-save button that reduces, they claim, toner consumption by 30 per cent. Printing costs are as low as three cents per page with toner save off, and 2.1 cents per page with toner save on.
The SCX-5312F offers a 12 page-per-minute print engine, 1200dpi resolution printing, duplex printing, 600dpi colour scanner and a 33.6Kpbs fax. It also includes built-in parallel port and USB interfaces and supports a wide range of operating systems.The unit is available from approved Samsung distributors and agents across Australia now for $1,999 including a three-year on-site warranty.
