Getronics combines with Wang Global

Getronics, provider of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Services and Business Solutions, has received approval from the European Commission for its combination with Wang Global.

The combined company will employ approximately 33,000 professionals and will have offices in 44 countries.

"This new combined entity will create a company with the scale and the resources to make continued investments in our growing portfolio of networked, enterprise and Internet/intranet services," said Joseph Tucci, Wang Global's former chairman and CEO.
