Knowledge Partners buys SIS

Knowledge Partners has acquired the customer base and key staff members of Systematics Information Systems. Both companies are integrators for Hummingbird Communications, formerly PC DOCS.

"We are very pleased to have taken over a number of active legal accounts, which ties in well with our consulting group's strong experience in legal and professional services," said Rod Gregor, director of Knowledge Partners. Mr Gregor also said Knowledge Partners would be able to sell its own proprietary litigation support, precedent management and document comparison software to these new customers.

Knowledge Partners is also exploring partnering opportunities to support Hummingbird's new Enterprise Information Portal product.
