Integration with Nuance's  eCopy ShareScan scanning and workflow solutions is providing Hyland Software with capabilities in Health Information Management.

The validated OnBase integration to ShareScan provides additional capture ports by enabling Multi-Function Peripheral devices (MFP's) to leverage OnBase workflow and clinical context management capabilities, even in areas where clinical and non-clinical information is comingled or clinical capture is infrequent.

The OnBase Connector utilized by eCopy ShareScan is designed to empower modern Multi-Function Peripheral Devices at or near the point of care to perform scanning and initial indexing of documents for subsequent verification within centralized HIM workflows. By sending documents from these point of care MFP stations directly into the OnBase ECM solution, HIM departments are able to access documents faster and incorporate them into their high-volume OnBase scanning and content management workflows.
