Medical coding app comes to Android
Eurofield Information Solutions (EIS) has announced the release of its TurboCoder ICD-10- CM Android app, which is able to be used offline and includes the complete ICD-10-CM classification to enable health professionals to easily find codes in the NEW ICD-10-CM Code Set.
The new TurboCoder app has the look and feel of the printed classification, and provides a cost effective replacement for the ICD-10-CM book.

EIS also has released a no-cost version of its TurboCoder ICD-9-CM for Android application. The Ninth Revision will still be relevant following the October transition, for both motor vehicle and occupational medicine, and treatments that straddle the transition date will require dual coding and separate claims. TurboCoder ICD-9-CM for Android not only enables improved speed, accuracy, and convenience, but it is free compared to ICD-9-CM books, which still retail for $US64.95 or more.

The suggested retail price of TurboCoder ICD-10-CM is $US49.95, however a launch promotion makes it available for $US24.95.
