Victorian Premier Acknowledges the Irish

May 21, 2007: Victorian Premier Steve Bracks has visited FINEOS Corporation in Dublin, Ireland to acknowledge the enterprise software provider’s Australian success and its plans to expand its capability centre in Melbourne.

With a group of senior officials making the trip to Dublin to discuss the FINEOS presence in the Australasian region, FINEOS told the officials their initial experience in the market has been consistent with their successful expansions into North America and Europe.

While the planned expansion of the FINEOS Regional Capability Centre was high on the agenda, the Premier also raised Australian customers of FINEOS including the Victorian-based Transport Accident Commission and the related Victorian WorkCover Authority. Melbourne has become a FINEOS hub of operations for the Australasia region and early plans for the Centre indicate the vendor is looking to expand its staffing capabilities and customer base.

FINEOS CEO Michael Kelly, says he is delighted with the Australian recognition he received from the visiting Government delegation. “We very much enjoy doing business in the region and look forward to developing our presence in Victoria and Australasia,” he said.
