Aussie Firm Buys NZ Storage Company

July 5th, 2006: Australian firm Recall has bought a New Zealand local document management company for an undisclosed sum.

The Purchase of New Zealand’s Total Records Management (TRM) continues Recall’s push to consolidate its regional business. Last year Recall bought out Australian information management company AUSDOC.

Recall New Zealand general manager Gavin Thwaites said the purchase followed major growth in the Asia-Pacific region by the company, a subsidiary of Australian outfit Brambles. “The purchase strengthens Recall's market position across the small, medium and corporate business sectors”, added Thwaites.

TRM made headlines last year after water got into it’s facility in Seaview, damaging thousands of Hutt Valley District Health Board files.
