Infosys acquires Expert Information Services

Infosys has bought Expert, and IT service provider which specialises in the design, build and integration of business solutions and products to leading companies in Australia for A$31 million.

Expert's clients include medium and large enterprises spanning across industries such as Telecom, Financial Services, Retail and Government sectors.

Their total revenues for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2003, were A$46.7 million, with a net profit after rax of A$7.0 million.

Dinesh, Member of the Board, Infosys Technologies Limited and Chairman-designate of the company is very excited about the transaction: "Australia is a very important market for us and this transaction reaffirms our commitment to this market by significantly enhancing our local presence.
