Laserfiche swims Pacific

Laserfiche has fine-tuned its presence in the Australian market for document management software with a second distributor and a regional manager.

Tim Dickinson is the new regional manager for Laserfiche in Australasia, and his appointment marks the first time the American company has had permanent representation in Australia and New Zealand.

”My priority will be to support end users with training and seminars,” Mr Dickinson said. “I will also be looking at the market and trying to educate it. We are proven in the US.”

Mr Dickinson will manage Laserfiche’s relationships with resellers Hi-Tron and newly appointed DICOM, targeting the local government and legal markets.

United is the latest document management solution to be introduced by Laserfiche. The application provides users with a system that provides text retrieval and distribution within other applications.

”IT management can now attach United onto an enterprise backbone. It can then start sharing data immediately with the accounting system, geographical information system, the customer relationship management or enterprise resource planning application, all instantly cross-referenced,” said Mr Dickinson.
