Quantum has added a new distributor to its network of suppliers in Australia. Express Data has been appointed as a distributor for Quantum's data protection and network storage solutions.
"These products will complement many of our core focus technology groups and existing vendors, in particular adding value to offering from Veritas, Hewlett-Packard (HP) and Computer Associates (CA)," said Peter Masters the marketing and operations director at Express Data.
In response to the new deal Express Data has appointed a new product manager, David Peach, to manage the Quantum account. Express Data has 71 sales people across Australia as well as a team of pre-sales engineers for storage integration. Staff at Express Data have already begun under going technical training from Quantum, which will be completed by the end of February.
Express Data is one of the largest IT distributors in Australia and will be making Quantum products available from its offices in Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Perth, Sydney and three offices in New Zealand at Auckland, Christchurch and Wellington.
