StorageTek appoints new professional services manager

The Australian branch office of American storage vendor StorageTek has appointed a new manager for the development of professional services Sam Srinivasan takes up the new position after a career with Data General, Geac and Marconi.

StorageTek is looking to develop its professional services business in Australia and New Zealand.

"The focus of my efforts is working with customers to understand theirinformation management problems and develop services solutions to addressthose problems," said Mr Srinivasan. He will be focusing on information lifecycle management; storage resource management; project and program management; end-to-end performance management and managed storage services.
