Integrating two states

Advanced Data Integration secured two contracts with both the Victorian and Queensland state governments, bringing $1million into the Queensland based company.

Advanced Data Integration's (ADI) Dataworks electronic document management (EDM) application will be implemented for the Victorian Government's Department of Human Services (DHS) and the Offices of the Queensland Ombudsman and Information Commissioner.

Dataworks is widely used in governments, with more than 110 councils throughout Australia and New Zealand using the software. The DHS is Victoria's largest government department. All 12,000 of its end users will use the system for ministerial management and executive correspondences. Paul McGee the project manager at the DHS said that the implementation of Dataworks would facilitate an improvement in the communication between the DHS and the ministerial offices.

In their home state, ADI has secured a deal to supply the Offices of the Queensland Ombudsman and the Information Commissioner.

The Queensland Ombudsman resolves complaints about administrative decisions made by the state government, whilst the Information Commissioner reviews decisions made by public agencies in relation to Freedom of Information (FOI). Dataworks will replace an existing records and document management system.
