October 1, 2008: DocsCorp is teaming up with with LexisNexis Visualfiles in the UK to jointly develop an innovative document bundling solution for the legal profession.
The interface replaces the traditional file-system based document store of Alfresco enabling all content such as business records and documents to be stored in CAStor. End users store and retrieve documents using the standard Alfresco interfaces with no impact to their behaviour.
Due out on 1 November, it will allow legal professionals and administrators to enhance the quality of their court bundles and speed their workflow by automating the production process.
The LexisNexis Document Bundling module is designed to help legal practices within local authorities and private legal firms overcome the frustration of manually importing and collating large volumes of case-relevant documentation into bundles and then formatting and indexing them for electronic presentation and printing.
The standalone solution will incorporate advanced PDF creation functionality that will allow users to create PDFs from any application, combine multiple documents into a single PDF, and markup PDFs with drawings and annotations and redact sensitive information.
