ProStor and Kazeon Team up for eDiscovery

January 24, 2008: Removable storage developer ProStor and eDiscovery provide Kazeon have announced that they are teaming up on a new integrated archiving solution.

The two say that ProStors InfiniVault archive appliance has now been certified to run with Kazeon’s Information Server software, claiming that the combination enables IT departments to improve information access, optimise storage utilisation and cut costs within tiered storage.

Kazeon says that its software revolutionises eDiscovery by intelligently searching, classifying and acting on electronically stored information. It claims this dramatically reduce the amount of effort IT administrators spend gathering information, and allows IT and business managers to focus on more important matters – such as managing regulatory compliance, information security and privacy.

ProStor claims that the combination of this technology with its InfiniVault appliance will provide companies with a solution that increases savings via data classification and archiving while ensuring regulatory compliance.

“Companies can now leverage the benefits of Kazeon’s software combined with ProStor’s InfiniVault to ensure that their valuable data is properly safeguarded and they are prepared for a broad range of eDiscovery challenges,” said Michael Marchi, vice president and general manager at Kazeon.
