Diskeeper Defrags by the Terabyte

December 15, 2008: Diskeeper Corp has heralded the release of what it is calling the most powerful automatic defrag engine ever built: the Titan Defrag Engine, which it says can defragment volumes of 100GB to 20TB and beyond efficiently.

Diskeeper says that Titan was engineered to rapidly defragment volumes exceeding 20 terabytes at maximum speeds – an increasingly curly problem given the exponential increase in storage volumes.

To keep storage running at peak efficiency, the company equipped its 2009 EnterpriseServer edition with the Titan Defrag Engine, saying it is the only defragmentation solution capable of improving performance in an enterprise network while reducing overall energy consumption through optimum computing.

Diskeeper says that Titan is the only defragmentation solution capable of handling and improving performance on the colossal scale of information found on large enterprise-sized servers.
