EDRMS export win for Objective
January 20, 2009: A UK organisation charged with the task of economically reinvigorating the West Midlands is the latest overseas customer for Objective.
Advantage West Midlands has selected Objective to provide a corporate-wide Electronic Document and Records Management (EDRM) system. The contract represents a minimum value of approximately $A500,000. Objective will be working in partnership with Bramble.cc, who is the prime contractor for the project.
Advantage West Midlands is the Regional Development Agency (RDA) for the West Midlands. They are one of nine RDAs in England that were established to transform the English regions through sustainable economic development. Their role is to lead the economic development of the West Midlands, working alongside a wide range of public, private and voluntary sector partners to help the region to prosper.
The contract covers the deployment of Objective’s EDRM solution to 350 users across the organisation. The initial phase of the project will concentrate on records management, to improve compliance with legislation such as the Freedom of Information and Data Protection Acts. The subsequent phase will introduce workflow and business process improvements.
Tony Walls, CEO, Objective Corporation said: “We are delighted to become part of Advantage West Midlands’ forward-thinking strategy and are confident that we can support them in meeting their strategic improvement goals.”
