infoXpert 8 adds workflow smarts
March 26, 2009:infoXpert has released Version 8 of its Enterprise Document, Records & Content Management solution.
Version 8 is a major product release for the Web-based infoXpert eDRMS, with an extensive range of new features and enhancements. The integrated workflow module has been completely redesigned with features such as Redirect Tasks when staff are out of office, graphical display of the workflow definition, expanded "My Tasks" dashboard and support for both serial and parallel tasks within a single workflow.
Version 8 builds on infoXpert's intuitive web based interface with the redesign of the application forms for increased readability and ease of access across different web browsers.
The new Auto Response Generator Module improves productivity by enabling users to select a document and automatically create response letters in Microsoft Word populated with standard text and meta fields (e.g. Name and Address) from the original document held in theinfoXpert repository.
For existing infoXpert Version 7 customers with a current support agreement the upgrade to Version 8 is provided at no additional cost using the automated "LiveUpdate" service.
