Remote Backup Joins Oracle Partner Network

November 27, 2007: Remote Backup Systems (RBS), the company commonly known for its remote online backup technology has announced its membership of the Oracle Partner Network.

The deal will see RBS gain access to Oracle’s full range of products as well as education and technical support from the software giant. RBS will be using its flagship product, RBackup as the main point of integration with Oracle products and services, hoping to incorporate a full spectrum of new features with the deal.

“Our participation in the Oracle Partner Network will ensure that RBackup users will continue to enjoy the best solution available for protecting their critical Oracle applications and data.” Said Rob Cosgrove, Chief Executive Officer at RBS.

Oracle’s partnership programs have been a major asset for the company who have just hosted their OpenWorld conference which featured a host of new virtualization announcements from a variety of different Oracle supporters.

“We’re excited to join the other premiere software developers who have taken advantage of the business development opportunities that Oracle provides for its partners,” said Cosgrove.
