The Australian Government Department of Sustainability, Environment, Water, Population and Communities has selected RecordPoint to provide standards-compliant records management for its SharePoint platform.

The department has responsibility for a broad set of agencies including the Bureau of Meteorology,  National Parks, Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority, Antarctica and the Murray-Darling Basin Authority.

The selection of RecordPoint to enhance the governance and management of SharePoint will also support the department’s overarching digital transition.

RecordPoint is being deployed in addition to software from Colligo and Titus Metadata Security to provide compliance with government records management standards endorsed by the National Archives of Australia.

RecordPoint leverages and extends the native document and records management capabilities in SharePoint to meet global and local record keeping standards.
