Sharp has introduced  new colour workgroup document systems, the MX-5141N and MX-4141N, providing  on-screen editing and multiple document finishing options. 

Offering 1200 x 1200 dpi resolution, they feature a 10.1” LCD dual-touch screen display with tiltable panel. and copy/print speeds of up to 51 ppm on the MX-5141N and up to 41 ppm on the MX-4141N (in both Black and Colour).

Sharpdesk mobile connects the workstation to mobile devices via Wi-Fi, so documents scanned on the system can be sent to a mobile device to preview and save, and documents saved on a mobile device can be printed out, sent as email attachments, or used in other applications.

The standard-equipped security functions allow encrypting and erasing of data on the HDD, secure network access such as IP/MAC address filtering, and SSL, IEEE802.1X support, which allows only authenticated devices to use the network. Documents accessed on mobile devices will also be secure with the wireless connection isolated from the wired Ethernet connection to keep it secure.
