Improved Search Grants More Jobs

March 28, 2007: ChoiceOne Total Recruitment has picked up enterprise search software ISYS:web to ensure their previous and existing candidates can quickly be located in their database. .

ISYS, a global software supplier based in Sydney, is working with the Australian recruitment specialist to allow them to recover filed resumes through text-based searches, discovering candidate who would otherwise not have been remembered immediately.

Scott Van Heurck, CEO of ChoiceOne, says he originally considered a document management solution, but found with ISYS, there was no need for a DMS. “ISYS plays a key role in connecting candidates and clients, which is directly converted into successful placements and incomes,” he says.

Mark Harford, senior engineering recruiter at ChoiceOne says one of his initial searches on the software was enough to prove its worthiness.

“After exploring all possibilities of supervisory candidates for a particular client, I did an exhaustive search with ISYS and located a good candidate that was last contacted in 2002,” says Harford. “By luck, he was available, fit all qualifications and has now filled the client’s position.”
