RuleBurst re-brands as Haley

May 8, 2008: Rules-based compliance vendor, RuleBurst has undergone a major rebranding exercise, choosing to adopt the name of its most recent acquisition.

Australian based compliance vendor, RuleBurst has rebranded the company as Haley, the name of the business rules technology vendor acquired by RuleBurst in November of last year.

Dominic Hanley, CEO of Haley explains this was due to the brand being very well known and regarded in the United States, a market that is growing well over 100% for the company.

“In the United States most major organisations or Government departments understand the need for compliance and particularly the need for rules-base compliance, which is what we specialise in,” said Hanley.

Hanley explains that companies should approach compliance with a view to make improvements in the business, not just a back office function that covers you from damage.

“Our focus is on turning compliance from risk management to something that can actually help the business,” said Hanley.

“We tend to focus on the solution and not just the industry, it might be compliance with fraud detection policy or compliance with social services legislation, and we start with a policy manual or document that controls how things should work.”
