Acronis Releases SMB Backup Software

May 16, 2008: Storage management and disaster recovery provider Acronis has new solutions on offer for small to medium businesses looking to protect data on physical and virtual servers.

Called True Image for Microsoft Small Business Server, the application enables SMB IT managers running Microsoft SBS to backup and restore both physical and virtual servers.

The latest addition to Acronis' portfolio of business-class backup and recovery, migration and virtualisation products, True Image is designed specifically for small businesses that might not have full-time IT staff.

The software creates a transportable image, independent of the hardware platform that can be restored directly to and from any virtual or physical environment.

The company says the combination of True Image with Microsoft Windows Small Business Server offers a powerful disaster recovery and system migration tool that is simple to use, fast, security-centric, reliable and very affordable.
