Easeus Offers Data Recovery Tool

February 23, 2009: Data recovery software provider Easeus has announced a new one-stop solution that it claims can safely and easily unformat a hard drive or partition under Windows environments.

Called Easeus Data Recovery Wizard, the company says that the software enables users who have formatted a hard drive to recover lost data by "unformatting" it – a problem that usually requires assistance from specialised recovery services.

The company says its software can unformat a hard drive at any time, supports Undelete, Unformat from various file systems including FAT, FAT16, VFAT, FAT32, NTFS, NTFS5 on various storage media, such as IDE/ATA, SATA, SCSI, USB, FireWire (IEEE1394) hard drive and other media like floppy disk, compact disc, USB flash drive, digital camera, digital audio player and more.

Overall, Easeus claims that Data Recovery Wizard ensures safe and precise file recovery if a drive has been formatted or corrupted, critical file system structures missing, an application has crashed, a computer is attacked by viruses and worms, if there are partitioning or boot-up problems, damage due to a power failure or surge and much more.
