Top Image Systems (TIS) has won a contract to supply its eFLOW platform to digitally capture and process approximately 180 million pages of completed questionnaires for the 2011 German Census.

Germany, like all other European Union member states, will be carrying out a population and housing census in 2011. The statistical offices of seven German federal states will use TIS’ eFLOW Platform to capture, extract and post-process data from the survey in 13 of 16 German states.

The eFLOW Platform has already been installed at seven locations and is currently in use. The solution includes scanning integration and applications that are focused on data-processing security.
