Queensland deal is one to treasure for Interwoven

Enterprise content management system provider Interwoven has secured a contract to provide the Queensland Treasury with a 250 seat license of its TeamSite content management and distribution software.

The Treasury will be using the software to enable content providers across a range of departments such as marketing, HR, legal and corporate communications to create and distribute information directly to the Internet. Utilising the collaborative workflow component of TeamSite, users can create content which is automatically routed to the approval manager within their department, without IT or web administrator involvement.

The Interwoven TeamSite streamlines the time it takes to create and push content to the web from weeks to minutes. In addition, using the new features in TeamSite 6.0, users can create ‘standardised pages’ in compliance with Queensland Treasury and Queensland Government standards.

Queensland Treasury joins eight other Queensland Government departments, including Queensland Health, Education and Emergency Services, in adopting the Interwoven TeamSite solution as its content management standard. Interwoven was awarded the contract after an extensive business and technical evaluation process.

“The new features in Interwoven TeamSite are a terrific business enabler, providing organisations with the ability to manage virtually any type of content for any purpose,” commented Richard Collins, managing director at Interwoven. “We are delighted to welcome Queensland Treasury as the latest addition to Interwoven’s growing portfolio of Government Sector customers.”
