Veritas and ACA Pacific in ANZ distie deal
Enterprise storage software provider Veritas has appointed ACA Pacific as a distribution partner for the company's high-end storage solutions in Australia and New Zealand.
According to Veritas, the decision was reached following the ongoing success of ACA Pacific as a distributor of a range of backup and recovery solutions for the vendor.
"Veritas' strong sales, combined with our uptake of performance management capabilities, has seen the need for us to extend our channels," said Peter Murray, Managing Director Australia and New Zealand for Veritas. "We already have a highly successful partnership with ACA distributing our backup and recovery products. Combined with their proven success in the enterprise market it was only natural for us to extend the relationship."
ACA Pacific provides a value-added service via its pre-sales technical consultants, the ability to run live demonstrations of the technology, and the availability of dedicated training facilities in both Sydney and Melbourne.
According to HB Tan, General Manager of ACA Pacific, "Our strong product knowledge and after sales support allows us to provide a delivery model unmatched by our competitors."
Tan added that ACA Pacific's focus on the storage and security markets and its position as a value-added reseller (VAR), offers Veritas access to a broader market.
"The role of ACA is to assist customers in evaluating their choice of storage software offerings. We are able to do this through our focused sales people and a procurement experience unmatched by our competitors."
