Patrick Martin to stay in top job

The CEO of StorageTek is stay in the top job for a further two years. The board of directors announced today that Patrick J Martin will stay on for two more years until June 2006.

Announcing the agreement, Richard Steadman the lead independent director and Robert E Lee, the chair of the human resources and compensation committee said: "His success is evidenced by significant improvements in all aspects of the business, including an enhanced product offering and the company's financial results."

Mr Martin has already been with StorageTek for two years.
