Quantum's leaps

Quantum Corporation has released DLT tape drives which offer up to 40GB of storage capacity. The DLT 8000 also has a data transfer rate of 6MBps (up to 12MBps compressed).

In related news, Quantum has signed a new distributor, ACA Pacific, to bolster its DLTtape operations in Australia.
