Canon Australia has added the majority-owned Océ to its Canon Partner Channel (CPC) Program to become a distributor of Canon’s imageRUNNER, imagePRESS and imagePROGRAF products, alongside Océ’s current range.

“By combining the strengths of both organisations, we create one of the industry’s most comprehensive product lines and will drive innovation through expanded research and development capabilities,” said Mr Kenji Kobayashi, Managing Director, Canon Australia.

In Australia Canon and Océ will continue to trade as separate entities.

Commenting on the partnership, Simon Wheeler, Managing Director, Océ Australia said; "This partnership gives Océ world class technology from Canon and as such allows us to support our customers better. We are very excited about the opportunities it presents."

The announcement follows CSG, one of Australia’s leading print and IT services businesses, becoming a CPC Business Partner.
