AI In Information Governance Survey Results

In November 2023, IDM and Hyland undertook a survey of Information and Records Management Professionals in Australia and New Zealand across various industry sectors, looking to discover on how the advent of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Information Governance revolutionizing how organizations manage, preserve, and retrieve their data.

Respondents included individuals in roles such as CIO, Director of Information Management, Data & Information Manager and Records Managers. The survey respondents cover diverse industry verticals, including; government, not-for-profit, education and private entities with over half representing entities with more than 500 employees.

The survey provides valid insights into the current landscape of Information Records Management in Australia and New Zealand. It highlights a growing interest in AI integration, ongoing challenges and the strategic priority of organisations in this field.
