GEON Upgrades Auckland Printery

April 4, 2007: Auckland printing service provider GEON has just commissioned a new purpose-built printing facility in Auckland, greatly increasing its printing and mailing capabilities.

At 11,000 sqm premises, the new premises will allow the company to merge its Brebner Print and BPG (Business Printing Group) businesses into a single location and offer new digital file, pre-press, printing and post-print services along side mailing, warehousing and logistics services.

“The merger was an important step towards enabling the Group to provide customers with a broader product and service offering,” said GEON Group Chief Executive Gordon Towell. “The ‘one-stop-stop’ operation will be one of a kind in New Zealand which will allow GEON Group to manage its customers’ critical information from disk to distribution, protecting the brand throughout each individual process and ensuring a level of quality and consistency that is unmatched in the printing marketplace.”

The facility is also located directly across from New Zealand Post’s major distribution centre, giving the company even more opportunity to offer faster and more convenient mailing options.
