HP Storageworks 2006 Conference

February 20, 2006: Leading storage players have descended upon Kota Kinabalu, capital of Sabah on the northern tip of Borneo for the HP Storageworks 2006 conference.

With an emphasis on exploration, innovation and adaptation, the conference will be covering storage issues such as data consolidation, compliance, backup and recovery, infrastructure and information lifecycle management (ILM).

Alongside this, the conference will be showcasing HP storageworks solutions such as long distance remote data mirroring, remote storage management and storage virtualisation.

HP will be presenting its storage vision alongside sponsors include Brocade, Cisco, Microsoft, QLogic and McData.

The conference will be held over two days, kicking off on Tuesday February 21. IDM is on the ground in balmy Borneo now and will be reporting live every day so keep checking back for up-to-the-minute reports.
