Business imaging solutions provider Canon has introduced its latest laser fax machine, the Fax-L360. The model, which comes complete with a Super G3 modem, can also be utilised as a laser printer and a copier.

Also incorporated in the machine is Canon's all-in-one cartridge replacement system, with toner, drum and cleaner unit contained in a single cartridge, making the unit virtually maintenance free.

Other features include a 400-page one-hour backup memory, 350 page paper tray, and high resolution 600dpi image reproduction capability.

The release of the Fax-L360 comes hot on the heels of the release of the latest version of Canon's imageREAL Capture document management application, imageREAL v 3.3.

It has been designed for medium to large organisations that require rapid access to business documents and information, and it can manage organisational information such as paper documents, email, office files, presentations, voice messages and items such as consignment notes and delivery dockets by filing information in a central location in any electronic format.

"Reducing the flow of paper documents through an organisation not only cuts storage costs, but also ensures companies can find stored information quickly when they need it, often enhancing their customers' experience as a result," says Peter Matthews, solutions and software product manager, Canon Business Imaging Solutions Group.
