Canon unveils specialist large format printers
May 18, 2009:Large format printing for CAD and GIS applications are the target of four new imagePROGRAF printers being launched by Canon in July.
The 24in imagePROGRAF iPF650 and iPF655 and the 36in iPF750 and iPF755 models produce a diverse range of complex, technical documents.
The iPF650/iPF655 machines can print an A1 image in 30 seconds, while the iPF750/iPF755 printers can output an A0 sheet in 48 seconds.
“The launch of these printers raises the number of Canon machines in the CAD and GIS arena to seven and indicates our on-going push to increase market share in the A1 and A0 technical sectors,” said Jeremy Plint, Marketing Manager – Office Imaging Products at Canon.
