Canon unveils eCopy-enabled scanner

September 4, 2009:Canon Australia is launching a new compact network scanner that includes eCopy’s ShareScan software, one of the leading document imaging solutions in the paper capture and distribution office market.

The imageFORMULA ScanFront 220eP includes eCopy ShareScan, software that enables seamless integration and connection with many critical business applications and services including document management, workflow and database systems, as well as email and fax servers.

The ScanFront 220eP is designed for decentralised or distributed scanning applications and for easily sharing documents via a network. It features an 8.5 inch color touch panel that allows for easy navigation as well as a preview of scanned images.

The imageFORMULA ScanFront 220eP rovides high-quality and secure scanning of up to 24 ppm. It incorporates customisable one-touch job buttons for simple operation, easy setup and remote management. The ScanFront 220eP also offers professional features that include double-feed detection and a finger swipe authentication function, providing an additional security measure for organisations that handle sensitive information.
