Month Date, 2008: In a move to drive regional growth, Swedish OCR software vendor ReadSoft has appointed Canadian Volckmar Managing Director in Oceania. Frank Volckmar will head ReadSoft’s operations in Australia and New Zealand.
Previously holding a position as global director for an on-demand software service, Volckmar says he looks forward to the challenges ahead. “My focus will be on expanding partnerships with leading service providers including service bureaus and business system vendors,” he says.
The first major initiative led by Volckmar is ReadSoft Oceania’s new service bureaux partner program, aimed at establishing better relations with this key channel.
Founder and CEO of ReadSoft AB, Jan Andersson, says ReadSoft is committed to the Australia and New Zealand operation, reinforced through Volckmar’s appointment.
