Canon launches digital press trio

March 20, 2009:Canon Australia continues to grow its family of digital production presses with the launch of three new black-and-white devices, theimagePRESS 1110, 1125 and 1135, aimed at commercial, print-for-pay and in-plant print businesses.

The imagePRESS 1110 has been designed for smaller in-plants and quick printers, the imagePRESS 1125 for medium-sized in-plants and mid to high volume commercial printers and the imagePRESS 1135 for larger commercial printers.

The devices have high capacity stackers, flexible media handling, easy-to-use software and a range of high quality in-line finishing possibilities.

A new "exact black" eB Toner promises to reproduce pure and rich black without mottles, while air feeding technology is used to ensure reliable feeding of a variety of paper weights.They offer a low fixing temperature to enable faster paper processing, and replication of halftone quality that is near lithographic with precision reproduction of fine lines and text.

“Our commitment to the production print market continues,” says Steve Brown, “and these presses will open up big avenues of opportunity to print owners. The benefits of this will be seen in both the short-term, through new revenue streams, and in the long-term through ongoing productivity supported by our customer training and service technicians.”
