Konica Minolta MFP goes duplex

Konica Minolta Business Solutions Australia has introduced it’s new multifunctional colour product, the bizhub C652DS, with enhanced scanning capabilities.

With a duplex scanner and a scanning speed of up to 156 images per minute (ipm), the device provides a professional document archiving solution for large workgroups and busy departments, with printing, copying and faxing in colour and in black-and-white.

“The fast, easy to use bizhub C652DS streamlines important workflows and document sharing of information which is essential in today’s business environments,” said Reese Malcolm, Product Manager, Konica Minolta Business Solutions Australia.

The standard bizhub C452, as well as the C552 and C652, reach high scan speeds of up to 78 ipm. They also support various file formats and scan-to functionalities.

The new bizhub C652DS supports the intelligent Dual Scan technology that simultaneously scans both sides of a duplex original as a standard and thereby delivers a scan speed of up to 156 monochrome or colour ipm (78 duplex printed pages).

The bizhub C652DS offers enhanced productivity for capturing paper-based documents to easily integrate them into existing workflows.

Konica Minolta provides software options from i2Scan and Kofax to allow users to extract information off the page and populate backend systems, databases and potentially kick-start an electronic workflow for processing.

Invu is available to streamline file management and optimise workflow with integrated document management, or the eCopy ShareScan application can make scanned documents directly available in most of today’s document management systems and includes document distribution as well as document creation, capturing and editing functions.

“The bizhub C652DS combines all of the bizhub C652 series strengths, such as outstanding colour quality and finishing versatility, with Dual Scan and guarantees straightforward and high level integration into existing workflows.” adds Reese Malcolm.
