US company Ephesoft has announced enhanced support for multi-language optical and intelligent character recognition (OCR and ICR) with the addition of Open Text Capture Recognition Engine 5.0, popularly known as RecoStar Professional 5.0.

This gives Ephesoft Enterprise Edition unprecedented support for recognizing 53 languages plus 40 more languages through extended character sets. The complete list of languages and supported countries can be found at Ephesoft’s website,www.ephesoft.com/handbook.html.
