Canon has launched a wireless adapter and mobile app for its  imageFORMULA Scan-tini Personal Document Scanners on the  iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

The WU10 Wireless Adapter and Battery Pack are designed to reduce cable clutter and facilitating sharing among small groups of users. Canon says on a full charge, the WU10 can deliver enough power to scan hundreds of images,.

CaptureOnTouch Mobile is a free downloadable app that allows users to easily scan, save, and send paper-based information to other supported applications, including third-party cloud-based applications. It works with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch to operate the imageFORMULA Scan-tini mobile document scanner.

The WU10 Wireless Adapter and Battery Pack will be available in Australia/NZ later in March 2013. US pricing is $US169.
