Avantstar has announced version 13 of its Quick View Plus file-viewing software, adding support for Windows 8, as well as 21 additional file formats.

Avantstar also offers a Professional Edition of Quick View Plus that is suited for ediscovery and litigation support professionals. The Professional Edition includes advanced viewing capabilities such as the ability to view text that was deliberately hidden in Microsoft Word documents as well as see comments in PowerPoint presentations. In addition, the Professional Edition easily integrates with third-party applications.

Pricing for Quick View Plus 13 Standard Edition begins at $US49 for a single user, with volume discounts available. Pricing for Quick View Plus 13 Professional Edition begins at $US495 (which includes a five-user license), also with volume discounts. An evaluation version is available for both editions upon request.
