Mo’s Mobiles scans to the cloud with gDocScan
Australian mobile phone retailer Mo’s Mobiles is using Google Apps to bypass the IT department - supporting document scanning to the cloud for 94 locations throughout Australia and more than 150 employees.
As with many growing businesses, co-founder Tim Levy wanted a technology platform that would keep up with a rapidly changing industry and ensure his dispersed group of young retail staff had access to the right information. So he went to the Cloud.
"Importantly for me, we have no IT staff," said Levy.
"I find small and medium businesses run their businesses faster than their IT department can catch up. It's such a bottleneck, and businesses like Google that really get the Cloud allow people like me to add functionality to their business."
"For Cloud document management, we use gDocScan, which lets us scan documents to the Google Cloud, and search the documents", said Tim Levy.
Jim Geer, President of gDocScan developer Executive Technologies, Inc, said "We are pleased to welcome Mo's Mobiles to the growing family of organisations deploying gDocScan for affordable Cloud document management.
"gDocScan is particularly suited to organisations with multiple locations, because you can scan from the multiple locations to Google Docs and everyone from any location can search and view the documents."
